A Transcriptionist’s Virtue of Patience

I started to value the importance of patience in everything I do. I learned to be more patient when I became a transcriptionist.

The long hours of typing, endless searching for the correct medical term in Google, deciphering a single word while the editor is rushing to submit, transcribing less than a minute of dictation (the doctor actually dictates too fast) – these instances need patience.
