Tourist Rushed to Sistine Chapel on the Last Day Prior to Papal Conclave
If you happen to be on tour in Rome and you are visiting Sistine Chapel, you might have not been able to come inside the Sistine Chapel and see the painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. That is because the Papal Conclave has been going on.
After the pronouncement of the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, who had his final day last Feb. 28, 2013.
The Sistine Chapel was open for visitors until March 1, 2013. Many tourists who planned earlier to visit Rome, took chances of visiting the inside of the Sistine Chapel.
Prior to visiting the Sistine Chapel, you will be able to visit the museum. When inside the Sistine Chapel, it is forbidden to take photos of any painting or anything inside the chapel. So tourists visiting Rome should respect that.
